  "How To Lose A Customer For $1" Apparently Sunoco doesn't live by its motto, "Customer First." I stopped in for air and gas on a very cold day (around 20 degrees), but the air pump (cost: $1) didn't work and I ended up with less air in my tire. So I asked the clerk for help, or a refund. He said I should have put the air pump hose in my tail pipe to heat it up. Yeh, he really said that. Never mind the carbon monoxide. So no air, no refund. He said, "I cannot help you. Call Sunoco customer service." So, he gives me their number and I called them. Their solution? They will "escalate" it. Seriously? It's only a buck! Wtf! So I left with no air and no refund - worse than when I stopped in. I didn't trust them enough at that point to buy gas from them and I probably never will.
